Kathryn Bernardo admits closeness with Daniel Padilla

Young actress Kathryn Bernardo admitted she is quite “close” with 17-year heartthrob Daniel Padilla.

Kathryn recently joined the young actor-singer off camera when she participated in the recent Star Magic Games as muse of the Red Team together with Julia Montes. Daniel meanwhile played as a member of one of the participating basketball teams. Both young talents are contract artists of Star Magic and ABS-CBN, and currently star together in the primetime series “Princess and I”. Kathryn plays the main protagonist “Mikay” opposite Daniel who plays “Gino.” The son of actor Rommel and singer Karla Estrada, Daniel is a recipient of the Gold Record Award for the outstanding sales of his debut self-titled album, “Daniel Padilla.” Star Cinema is already lining up a film for the two as entry for the 38th Metro Manila Film Festival. The movie is tentatively titled, “Sistereka” and also stars Vice Ganda and Kris Aquino. Meanwhile, Daniel said in an earlier interview that he is ready to marry the 16-year old Kathryn when the right times come.
